What is a 10 hours timer?

Is a ten-hour shift overtime?
Under US federal law, no — overtime is a weekly test at forty hours, so four ten-hour days is a normal week. Several states, California among them, pay daily overtime past eight hours, which is why the time card calculator shows regular and overtime hours separately rather than applying one rule.
